  Great little grocery store that usually has all the items we need.

  This is probably a midsize Foodland they have a large variety of items and we usually find everything we're looking for here. If you're looking for pharmacy items and it's something specific you're better off to go to a drugstore. There is free parking but since they installed the beer store next door and it shares part of this parking lot as a drive-thru area it has made it very awkward for parking

  I usually swing through this store on my way from Minden to Algonquin. The staff are always very nice and helpful, shelves are always stocked. It may just be the clientele but often times the floor can be a hit dirty near the entrance, nothing of a major issue though. Great prices and great shopping experience

  This store is pricy ( no news there) but also practises false advertising. Today I was purchasing turkey slices from the deli and there are numerous signs offering 1/2 dozen in-store buns with any $10 purchase from the deli counter. My slices were $8 so I decided to get some liverwurst from the deli counter totalling $4 when I was cashing out I was told that for some unknown reason the liverwurst did not count as a purchase from the deli. WHAT! This store has done this before where they tried to charge me full price for coffee on sale. At least they honoured that sale. I will avoid this store as much as possible. Unfortunately as a full time resident in Minden Hills some times there is no choice. Shame on you Foodland for not honouring your specials!! You are a big rip-off!!!!
